Retainer hours are not good for adding functionality to a website or website development work. Retainer hours also do not apply to social media management, marketing, advertising, or brand logo creation.

Hours do not rollover but are semi-flexible for a 3 month span.
I.E. for a 2 hours retainer, if 3 hours are needed 1 month, but the second month only 1 hour is used. Hours cannot accumulate for a 3+ month timespan. If hours are routinely not used, it would likely be best to decrease the retainer.
